About Me
A young Venezuelan with an appetite for letters.
My world has always been consumed by pages: books and novels that line the shelves of the library of my life. When setting out to write my own story, I decided to publish each chapter of the journey to chronicle this great adventure we call life. And so, before you lies a capsule of me: my likes and dislikes, my works and ideas, the very essence of the person I hope to become.
As a pre-law student in Boston University's Questrom School of Business concentrating in Finance and Law, I am constantly exposed to new ideas, diverse perspectives, and novel concepts. As a member of the Kilachand Honors College, I am challenged every day to think beyond what society has to offer, using the body of knowledge and material thus far created to further innovate and breed new solutions.
As a member of The Daily Free Press-- Boston University's independent student newspaper-- I seek to uncover and divulge the truth, interacting with government officials and distinguished individuals to amplify those voices that must be heard. My work with BU's Pre-Law Review tasks me with the mission to explore new realms of the legal world, combining research and analysis to produce relevant material. Being a member of TAMID allows me to become an insider in the very center of Israeli start-up innovation.
A full-fledged coffee fanatic, I am willing to go to admittedly embarrassing ends to seek and secure that perfect oat-milk Latte. My appetite for books has yet to be satiated, neither genre nor length deterring this hunger. A day gone by without a crossword puzzle in sight is, in my opinion, a day wasted. A vibrant sunrise, a pilates session, or a long hike are sure to fill me with infinite joy. Lin Manuel Miranda's lyrics probably consume a larger part of my memory than they should.
Fleeing from Venezuela due to its critical political, health, and safety situation sparked a flame inside of me that will forever burn for law, justice, and human rights. Being exposed from such a young age to the catastrophic effects of anarchy and corruption made it my life's mission to someday become an extraordinary lawyer.
I may not know how or when this journey will reach its finish line, but I do know that each of its twists and turns will represent lessons worth sharing. So... Care to go for a ride with me?
